    Picture Wrapping (PowerPoint 2000)

Hi, is it possible to have a picture 'inline with text' as you can in Word. I want to to create an online manual along the lines of "Click on <<Internet Explorer Icon>> to open the intranet" so it flies in from the left for example. I can only seem to have floating icon which means I can't do the animation effects as the icon either has to appear before the text or after the text.

    Any ideas?

You need to bring your text and images in separately. So the short answer is no. There are tools however, to help you line these items up. In particular, Guides.
If you haven't used guides before - you'll find them under the view menu. You can drag the guide to whatever position you want and then align the text and picture to the guide.
