Netscape vs Outlook Address Book

New to the Lounge. This looks good. Now my question:

I have been a long time user of Netscape. However, upon upgrading to Netscape 6, I have had some difficulties with printing, etc. It's to complicated to go into here.

I recently started using MS Outlook as my email program. It's what I use at work, so I started at home.

How do I import my Netscape addresses into Outlook? If it's something that is in the "To Hard tTo Do Box", I'll just start typing. I'm able to move bookmarks, but have not figured out the address book.

It's probably something real simple, but I haven't found it. Thanks. See you later in the lounge.

This is a guess as I never use Outlook for mail. Under File/Import & Export...(there's a wizard/Import Internet Mail and Addresses, then go from there.

Hope this helps.

It has been a long time since I use Netscape, but I think you need to do a EXPORT from netscape, remember what and where the exported file is, then go into Outlook and do a IMPORT.
You stated Outlook, I asume that you NOT talking about Outlook Express, things are a little different.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Thanks. I'll try the Export from Netscape 6. I am using Outlook 2000 as my new email program.

Are you sure? I looked at
File/Import & Export.../Import Internet Mail & Addresses/ & then the next step is to choose your version of Netscape & specify to import the address book. I haven't tried it all the way, but it doesn't seem like cookies & favorites.

You can export the addresses as a comma delimited and import it into outlook.
