Outlook 2K contact address (Outlook 2000)

I don't know if anyone has seen this before. I have a client running a network using an Exchange server. They use Outlook 2000 in corporate mode. Recently whenever they add a contact it places United States of America as the last line on the contact's address. They don't want it. Outlook just does it on it's own. Can anyone tell me how to turn the "feature" off.
    Thanks,
    apapkin

Re: Outlook 2K contact address (Outlook 2000)

I have only a limited understanding of this field, but I believe Outlook is hardwired to pick this up from the OS regional settings. So it always does this if you put in an address. Worse, you can't turn it off (so far as I know).
