    .pst file won't copy

I'm trying to copy a .pst file from one PC to another. When I attempt to drag and drop the file from my PC to another one, I get the message "Cannot copy the file. Access denied. The file may be in use." Outlook is closed, and the file is not in use. I also attempted to copy the file as Administrator and got the same message. I've checked the properites and the file is set to be shared.

Do you have write permissions for the target directory? And is there enough free space?

Also if the "pst" file belongs to the account that is logged in, then it is in use, and may not allow the copy to happen. Remember if you 'switch user' the other account is stiil logged in and ALL files are in use.
You may also check and make sure that Outlook.exe is NOT listed in the task manager, if so, kill task.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

From Outlook, use File | Export and Import | Export... and use PST file as target in the folder of your choice.
