Array Formula Syntax

    Sheet1:
    Column D Represents Time.
Column AH Represents call type, and will be populated with 1 if it applies

    Sheet2:
Cell B21 represents calls taken in the 5:00 hour, with the type listed in sheet1!AH.

    I was thinking =SUM(IF(HOUR(Results!D1:Results!D68)=5,1,0))
but i'm having problems with the syntax... how can I add the Sheet1!AH column equivalent?

    Thanks for your help!

    Drk.

    Re: Array Formula Syntax

    Try:

=SUM((HOUR(Results!D168)=5)*1)

    Re: Array Formula Syntax

Do you want to count the number of rows for which the hour is 5 and there is a one in column AH? If so, try
    =SUM((HOUR(Results!D168)=5)*(AH1:AH68=1))

(and press Ctrl-Alt-Enter to get curly brackets)

(Thanks to Legare for the first half of the formula)
