Pivot Table & arbitrary consolidation (2000k SP3)

Folks,

Is there a way to make "arbitrary" grouping / consolidations in pivot tables ?

Let's take the following datas

Stuff ! I1 ! I2
---------------------
Widget 0 ! 8 ! 5000
Widget 1 ! 9 ! 10000
Widget 2 ! 12 ! 500
Widget 3 ! 22 ! 400

I want to sum on I2 with criteria on I2 like

Widget, I1 < 10, total 15000
Widget, I1 > 10 and I < 18, total 500
Widget, I1 > 22, total 400

Note that the intervals are not constant (i.e. I don't think I can use the "group" command)

How would you construct such a pivot table ?

Regards

Add another column which indicates the new Group (can be populated with an IF statement)

For what you have listed, a sumif would work, but I assume that you have other "stuff" other than widgets. Perhaps an Array formula?
