    Email addresses (Outlook 2002 SP1)

I have some "hidden email addresses that appear on the "To" selector when in the main compose a new email window. They don't show up in the addresses look-up window. Eg: If I type in "penn" looking for all emails for people whose name starts with "Penn" I get four addresses back. In the CONTACTS folder I have two valid entries for people whose is Penny. The other addresses may have come as CC: on some incoming emails. Where are these other email address contacts stored ? And, more importantly, how can I delete them ?

    Cheers,

    NamibGuy in Ottawa, Canada.

Are you talking about the drop-down box that appears?
You should be able to down-arrow to the one(s) you don't want and hit Delete...

There is a file that stores matches between the fragment you type and the full name/address. Search here for discussions of the nicknames file for more information.
