    IE6 (6.0.28)

Okay, I have compared my security settings with the other computers in the office that were not updated from IE 6.0.26 and it looks the same. My system, that I did the update on and Critical updates, still will not allow me to do online banking, but all the other systems will. Help! Any way to go backward to the previous version???

lynn, Did you have to download & install something to do the banking? If so or you don't remember, look at 'C:Winntdownloaded program files' (I think you said this was a Win2k machine) and check for anything with a status of damaged. If you right click and select properties you can get an idea where the file originated.

If you look under Help | About Internet Explorer do you see "Cipher Strength: 128 bit"?
