    Outlook Home Network (Outlook 2002)

I have my desktop, my wife's desktop and our laptop set up on a home wireless network. I want to be able to access our individual Outlook files on our desktop from the lap top (mine from my partiton, and my wife from her partition). I have tried this by opening my *.pst file from the laptop which works fine except that when I go back to my desktop and open Outlook, all of my settings have been destroyed. Basic question... what is the best way to be able to access individual Outlook *.pst files this way without destroying the settings for the file on the home computer? I hope I have explained this well. Thanks.

Best of my knowledge the behavior you see is what you get when both installs use the same pst as the main store. You shouldn't see this if one of the installs opens the pst as a second store. I haven't tried this but I think it's a reasonable best guess.
