Print PDF from Word (Word 2000 SR-1)

Using Word 2000 SR-1 and Acrobat Reader 4.0 I would like to be able to print:
page 1
pdf 1
pdf 2
page 2
page 3

in that order.

Is this possible? If so, could someone tell me how. I'm not good at all with macros and the like, but I'm always game to try anything!

If it's not possible to do it that way, can a macro be created so that you print each page as a document?

Thanks!!

Re: Print PDF from Word (Word 2000 SR-1)

Either on this board or on the VB/VBA board, there have been some threads about printing PDFs from the command line. I think it involves starting the reader with a specific "switch" like /p or something. That, plus the Shell or "new process" API commands, would be the part of the puzzle that would allow you to automate the printing of PDF files from a macro in Word. The part about printing Word pages is straightforward enough. That leaves the question of how the macro is going to know the paths to the PDF files?
