    controls (2000)

I've created a print and close button for a form in my access db. I've got about 6 forms. I'd like to jsut copy the buttons and paste them on each form instead of re-creating each one on each form. I tried to do this and it pasted correctly, but the buttons didn't work. Is it possible to accomplish this somehow. Thanks beforehand!

I believe that you can copy the buttons OK, but it will not copy the code behind them.
You will have to copy and paste the code as well making any corrections to the code as required.

Another method is to put your buttons and their code on a form sized to use as a subform. Then just put that subform somewhere like the form footer of each form where you need to use those buttons. The code has to be adjusted to set the focus back to the parent form before excecuting actions in most cases, but I've used this technique effectively in Access 2000.
