    switchboard (2000)

How do I get my switchboard form to automatically open in a maximized view when I start the database?

Create a macro named Autoexec. It will run automatically when the database opens. Then add to the macro: OpenForm, Maximize.

Another way is to go into Tools / Startup and select the switchboard form.

That doesn't normally maximize the switchboard however - it normally opens in a restored mode. To maximize it, you want to put code in the On Open event that says docmd.maximize. FWIW, I don't find switchboards that are maximized very pleasing from a visual perspective. We normally hide the database window so it isn't a big deal to leave the switchboard in a restored mode.
