    Logoff (home)

Cannot logoff using mouse (only with keyboard) and then it goes to the logon screen (which BTW says that I'm the still logged on). ?????????

More info please. Is your mouse working otherwise - can you move it and click objects normally? When you say "with keyboard" how do you mean - Ctrl-Esc or Task Manager or....? Do you have a virus checker installed and up to date? Have you run a scan lately? How about an "ad detection" program, like AdAware or some other?

Do you have more than one user account?

Do you have to log in when you start up the computer, if not you have "Auto login" running. Auto login will run when your system is set up as a "Single" user system.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Don't know why, but I after powering down and rebooting the problem has resolved itself. Thanx for your responses.

Sheesh, anudder mystery mysteriously solved, by a diligent user, huh? ! ? ! I was about to write you back asking if you happen to have a cordless mouse or something, but, who knows. Glad it's resolved.
