    Printing Attachments (Outlook 97)

A friend swears he used to have Outlook set up so that when he printed an email message, he would get a prompt asking if he wanted to print the attachments also. He no longer is getting the prompt. Attachments are automatically printing. I know how to automatically print attachments, but I can't figure out how to get the prompt.

Any suggestion would be very appreciated!!

In Outlook 98 (I don't have '97), there is no setting to prompt the user for printing an attachment, AFAIK, but if the security setting for attachments is high (Tools/Options, Security tab), the user gets asked whether the attachment should be opened, saved to disk or canceled.

In OL2K it's an option in the Print dialog. I think the setting is "sticky," that is, once you turn it on, it stays on for future print jobs until you turn it off again. But I never use it, so that's from memory...
