Publisher 2002 Install Problem (Pub 2002)

I have Office XP Professional which I've installed on both of my PCs. On the 1st machine, I installed all the Office apps but had never used used Publisher on this one. On the 2nd machine, I installed all the Office apps except FrontPage and have used Publisher from time to time on this one. Today, I attempted to use Publisher on the 1st machine, only to realize it wasn't there (no MSPUB.EXE in the Microsoft Office folder). When I tried to "re-install" Publisher 2002 to this PC there wasn't even a "choice" to add it from the list of available items. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get Publisher 2002 installed on my primary PC?

I seem to be having a similar problem after reinstalling Publisher 2000 (SR 1a).! The icon's there, the exe file is there, but when I invoke the program it calls for CD2 from the Office 2000 set. When I searched the Microsoft site for the cause of this it advise me that CD2 has a different set of installation files to CD1. Apparently the CD thinks I'm a site administrator or somesuch. It might be worth following this up.

I just wonder if SR3 fixes the problem!
