    Value=present date (2000)

    I have a form in which i wish to have the present date automatically entered in as the value. How can I do that? I was thinking something along the lines of...

    Date()

    But this seems to be giving me some errors.

    Re: Value=present date (2000)

    As it is an easy one let me take a whack.

    Set the default value of the field to Date().

    So this in the table structure where the fields are defined.

    Where/how are you using it such that Date() is giving you errors?

    Why not set the controls default to Date().
    This should be all that's required.
