    IE 5.5 (5.5)

I recently switched ISP's and went to Comcast (oh well). My question is how to fix the Banner for IE. It seems that loading the Comcast software has put an extension on the banner "Micorsoft Internet Explorer provided by Comcast". I know it is not really important but it bugs me and I would like to know how to put it back to where it was. It did not load a newer version of IE, just stuck the banner there.
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks

Thank you very much. I am now Happy with my title bar. Maybe I should customize it with My Name ?
I do not know much about VB but it seems that it makes it easier than editing the Registry.
    Again, thanks

If it seems easier, VB (Visual Basic) or VBS (Visual Basic Scripting Edition) probably is editing the registry on your behalf. Faced with the prospect of spending 2 hours debugging a new VB program or VBS script, I bet you'd prefer the registry editor. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

But seriously, I don't see any harm in customizing the IE title bar. Other programs that normally aren't customized could be a problem...
