    MSCONFIG MIssing

I had my PC built for me. It has Windows 2K and it is configured so that I do not have to login to the system - it just starts, so I think this means I have admin permissions.
However, MSCONFIG is missing - START | RUN | MSCONFIG yields the message "cannot find the file MSCONFIG (or one of its components)"
Is there a way to get this (without hving to become a computer expert and/or rebuilding the system).
(I only want it because having read about programs which insert themselves in the hidden start folder I wanted to check out what's on the system)
    Thanks in advance

    Re: MSCONFIG MIssing

Windows 2000 did not ship with that particular utility. You can, however, download similar utilities from the net and even copy MSCONFIG from a Windows 98 system and run it (it will generate three or four errors and then run).

    Thanks for the reply, Mark
I've located a useful site where I can either get an MSCONFIG download or other freeware utilities here
Another problem solved thanks to the lounge and its loungers.
