    creating lists from views (Outlook 2000)

    Hi,

    One of our members writes:

    "In Outlook I'm using categories to create lists by selecting a View that
    only includes contacts with the category "update". This is different from
    the way OE does it in which a copy of a contact goes into a list folder.
    Creating the view is very flexible -e.g. all donors in UK or those who want
    an electronic version of our Prayer Letter. You just add and remove
    categories from a contact when qualifications change.

    My problem is getting a message to go to the members of one of these custom
    views."

    I only have 2002 so the following may not work

    Use a display that Groups or sorts by category
    Select the first
    Shift/Click the last (to select them all)
    Select the menu item Actions > New message to contact
    and the mail message should include all addresses in the To: field
