    if formula or conditional formatting (97/2000)

    Hi I'm just a beginner to excel. I attached a worksheet that explains what i want to do. Please point me in some direction.

    You were most of the way there - the IF statement was the right start. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
    I've simply nested another one into the 'false' leg to show you what's required. I used lower case so you can see which is which.

    I wish there was a book or a video on examples of how the different formulas were used.
