    Predefined FileName in wdFileSaveA Dialog (2000 no SR)

    When I try to address the FileName argument of the wdFileSaveAs dialog for a subsequent .show with my own "proposal" of an automatically generated filename I have no access.
    ActiveDocument.SaveAs works fine but it does not give the user a posibility to change directory or filename.
    I am sorry to post this question but my knowledge on VBA is limited!
    Thanks for help! H3O

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by jscher2000 on 04-Jan-03 15:09. Fixed a wee typo...)</P>Don't use .FileName, use .Name like:

    With Dialogs(wdDialogFileSaveAs)
    <font color=448800>'You don't need the full path if you want the path to be the default path</font color=448800>
    .Name = "c:documents and settingsbryandesktopTest1.doc"
    <font color=448800>'.Show will save the file when you click save and won't if you click cancel</font color=448800>
    .Show
    End With
    --
