    SQL statement syntax

Is it possible to use a string variable containing a table name within an sql statement and if so what is the syntax that allows it to be read correctly? I have the following statement (actually the example here is just the end of the statement) and 'strFileName' is a string variable that contains the table name. My guess is that it is some combination of quotes, parenthesis, and/or braces/brackets. Thanks in advance.

    ... & "ORDER BY strFileName.Alpha;"

    Re: SQL statement syntax

Never mind (puff puff pant pant) I figured it out myself. The line of code should read as:

& "ORDER BY Invitees" & strFileNum & ".Alpha;"

    Thanks anyways.
