    Office SR-1 Update

I would like a copy of the Office 2000 SR-1 (not SR-1a) CD-ROM. I have searched and searched on the Microsoft site and cannot find where to order one. Does anyone know where to get one?

    Re: Office SR-1 Update

Why would you want it, when SR-1a corrected some of the problems in SR-1? I believe Microsoft simply replaced the SR-1 download with the patched SR-1a.

    Re: Office SR-1 Update

    Hey Charlotte,
Thanks for your reply and question. Maybe you could help me understand about the "Outlook Email Security Update"(OESU). I am not a computer specialist. From what I have read in WOW, the OESU is an automatic part of the SR-1a update. Is that true and if so what do you do about it?
The reason I am after the disk is that when I loaded the SR-1 update, I downloaded it, ran the update and deleted the download. Now when I hit functions that were not automatically loaded when I did the original full install of Office, I try to install them and get a message to insert the SR-1 disk. Is there any way to just get Office to install all of those functions ?
    Thanks

I'm not sure even Microsoft understands the OESU! However, if you get the SR-1a CD, it contains the SR-1 stuff as well but with patches and additional patches, not to mention the ever-popular "features. Are you trying to install the OESU or avoid it?

    Charlotte,
Thanks for working with me on this. I am trying to avoid installing it.
