    Address Book (Office 2000)

I have a user whose contacts are not showing up in her Address Book. She can do a FIND to locate someone who is in her Address Book but when the Address Book is opened, it appears blank. HELP for the Address Book has not helped. Does anyone know why her contacts are not appearing?

Assuming this is a Corporate-or- Workgroup, what shows up in the Address Book under Tools, Options Addressing?

When I go to TOOLS in the Address Book, I get a drop-down that has ACCOUNTS and ACTION options only. You mentioned corporate or workgroup. What do you mean by that with regard to individual contacts in an address book?

In 2000 there are two modes, Internet Mode Only, oriented to Dial-up users, and Corporate-or-Workgroup, oriented to LAN/WAN users. Help, About shows which mode is installed. The dialog I referenced applies to Corp-Workgrp, see attachment. The question is, what services show up for this user in the last part of this dialog?

A potential cause for an apparently blank Address Book could be if the user has Outlook Address Book in Services, but their Contacts folder isn't enabled as an Outlook Address Book. Check under Properties, for Contacts, Outlook Address Book tab - the Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book check box should be checked.

Yes, that's where I was headed.
