    Date Modified

Hello, Is there any way that I can change the "Modified" date of a file that is shown in Explorer.? I have some images that I want to set the date to reflect the date upon which they were taken. I could set my system date to the date required and edit up the image and save it again but that seems a bit cumbersome. Is there something out there that will allow me a simplier solution? Thanks John

The AttributeMagic Pro utility lets you change the modified date. It's US$ 15, but you can download a trial version from http://www.attributemagic.com/modify_file_date.html.

If you're proficient in Windows API programming, you can roll your own using the SetFileTime function <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>.

A quick google for "Touch Utility Windows" turned up the following...
TouchPro, Touch for Windows, File Touch 2

Thank you Hans, Stuart and Leif. I won't get into the API programming just yet but I will download one of the utilities! Cheers John
