    Excel Pivot Tables (97)

I have an Excel spreadsheet with names of workers and names of clients but each client may be entered on the spreadsheet many times e.g. for different dates, therefore the name of the worker is repeated. I would like my existing pivot table to count the number clients that each worker has rather than counting each individual row for each client

Make sure your worker is placed in a column field, your client is placed in a row filed *and* in the datafield.

I would prefer if you could attach a sample workbook with (nonsense) data I could have a look at.

    BTW: what XL version?
