    Filtering on SubForm (2000)

Help! I have a combo box in a form, and from this combo box you select a status "Active", "Returned", etc. When the user selects the status from this combo box, it should filter the subform results accordingly. But no matter what, I can't figure this out as the subform never gets filtered at all. What am I doing wrong?

How are you applying the filter - in code or manually? If it's a manual filter done with a right click in the subform, and then choosing "Filter by Selection" then something strange is indeed going on.

In design mode, look at the properties for the subform. Check the data in Link Child Fields and Link Master Fields. You should see the names of the applicable combo boxes in the fields. If not, the combo box and the subform are not linked.

Thanks everyone, I am currently investigating options and doing more research. I will be able to try out some new things next week, so if I need additonal help, I'll be sure to post back.
