    Need Formula (2000)

I have very little with non-arithmetic formulas and was hoping to get some help. I have a large database with inventory records that I need to group into type of material. Since the abbreviations are cryptic and hidden, I was hoping to use a formula to identify cells with a particular abbreviation. For example, on the attached spreadsheet, is there a way to identify all instances of the letters PLS, with the id in column B. Any help would be appreciated.

    The formula:
    =NOT(ISERROR(SEARCH("PLS",A2)))

Copied down the row, ill yield a FALSE (not found) or a true (found) for each cell
