Re: Compile Error: User Defined type not defined (2000 (9.0 SR-1))

You need to set a reference to DAO - Access 2000 doesn't set that by default, since ADO is the default data object model.

    Open any module.
    Select Tools/References...
Look up Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library.
Check the box to the left of it.
    Click OK.

Compile Error: User Defined type not defined (2000 (9.0 SR-1))

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by WendellB on 11-Jan-03 06:37. Activate hyperlink)</P>Hi guys,

I am trying to add an audit-log functionality to my database, using Allen Browne's code (http://www.wa.apana.org/au/~abrowne/AppAudit.html). However, I get this compile error (Compile Error: User-defined type not defined) and highlights the this line on the code:

Dim db As DAO.Database ' Current database

Does anyone know what is wrong? Is this a compatibility issue?

thanks in advance for any ideas,
