Boot Up (WINXP)

Afert post and before welcome screen a little window pops up asking what boot device I want to use. I have it set up in BIOS as IDE-0 as first boot device. Whats up with that. Don't remember seeing this window before.

Hey, where ya been, Cowboy? Haven't seen anything of you until recently. Have you been on a holiday or something?

Have you gone back in to the BIOS to verify that something hasn't accidently changed what you set up? Does the window look like it's coming from Windows or while the machine is still in early-DOS bootup stages? I've not seen a window like that before. Since I don't know anything about your machine, could it possibly be that you have a CD in the tray or something like that? I guess the first thing we need to try to figure out is whether the message is coming from your BIOS or Windows.

Hey Doc; After she hooked up the new monitor both problems went away. Go figure. I pretty much knew the new monitor would take care of the black out but never thought it would clear up the Device Window. But who cares, it works right. Stupid Hard Headed Windows XP.
