My password just bit the dust.......after I logged in and used it!
This happened just after I viewed a "joke" with a URL on another post that
came to my email at home.
I got the temporary password OK, but wonder if there could be a connection?
The password failed as I was trying to post a reply to the "jokester". It didn't contain a virus (whew).

Password for what? I gotta admit, I'm not quite sure what or where the problem is, just that there is one. Can you provide some specific information?

When you login, you're asked for your name and password.
This is the password that worked when I signed in, but when I had a problem with a "joke" post (here), I had to shut down Internet Explorer
to get rid of the URL. It was sent to my email as a group of posts for Woody's. Posted by "ilona53", also known as Lonnie (bubbles) with the
word next to the URL "laugh". When I clicked on it, some webpage about personal ads for dates came up, and the only way I could get
the page to go away was to shut down IE, go offline, then come back. When I got back and logged in, the password worked. Later, when
I tried to post something, it stopped working. I have since gotten a new password, and am using that one now.
I didn't appreciate the "joke".........or maybe something in my Internet Explorer suddenly stopped working???? Too weird!

Sounds like your cookie may have become corrupted - the best way out of that is usually to delete it it.
(It should take the form of raybee@www.wopr[1].txt or similar.)

Good grief! Took me 3x reading this, and I still couldn't understand what was going on. Hope that's all it was - a corrupted cookie.
