    'This one stumped Woody' (OfficeXP/SP-1)

I have a 127 page, approx 47,000 word MS WORD document with 130 embedded TIFF images. Every time I open the document, and close it again without doing any alterations the following message appears: This document has been modified, Do you want to save changes etc. - NOTHING WAS CHANGED.
How can I get rid off this messages?
Woody, suggested a number of options, unfortunately none worked!!!
Is there anyone out there who might have the answere?
I thank the Woody's Lounge members in advance for their help!

Have you tried all the suggestions in the replies to post 212861?

Thank you for your reply - I read all the suggestions in the replies to post 212861.
I was able to fix the problem a few hours after I had posted the message.
When I created the document, I saved it each and every time with the "Automatically save a version on close" checked.
Having done most things I could think of, I opened the doc, looked at VERSION and found neither the box checked or any info on the previous saves.
I checked the box and closed it. (not being asked whether I wanted to save the changes.)
I opened the doc again > Select All > Ctrl+Shift+F9>close and save the changes.
After that the version box was unchecked and the doc closed without the "save etc..." message appearing.
I had saved the bacon - sorry for this English expression of delight!
    Many thanks
