    Rules Wizard Colors

I used the Wizard to color my wife's email blue - mine is black. It worked, BUT some email sent to me has her color even though I tried to change it back to black, and another is sometimes black like it should be and sometimes blue! I have Office/Outlook 2000. What gives?

Are your rules based on the sender's NAME or full E-MAIL address? I had set up a rule for someone (based on their full name as it appeared in the header of e-mail I'd received from them), only to discover that mail from their brother (same last name) also got highlighted. I changed the rule to reflect his e-mail address, and it works fine now.

I used the "sent to" tab for her name and her email address to be colored blue. This works fine. I get email addressed to me from R.G. that is always blue when it should be black and email from K.B. that is sometimes blue & sometimes black.

try reversing the order of the rules, see if that helps. if there is a "stop processing" avail for automatic formating rules, use it too.
