    Login Screen (Windows XP)

When WXP is part of a workgroup, one is presented with a list of users to log in with, and ou choose it by clicking on the user and entering the password.

When WXP is part of a domain, one has to press Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the login screen, then has to type in the username and password in order to login.

Is it possible to have WXP (in a domain) to present the same type of screen where there is a choice of users to login with?

I believe you're referring to the Welcome screen? Sadly, if you're part of a domain, the answer is no. Read more about it here: http://www.ntfaq.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=20539

I had a very strong suspicion that this was the case - thanks very much for the confirmation and the link!
