    Can't delete hardware configuration

Arggh...my laptop (old Toshiba Satellite 4000) now has a hardware configuration in use called "Undocked" and I cannot through the Hardware dialogue under My Computer/Properties either 1) set the configuration back to "Original Configuration" even though it is displayed as an option, or2) DELETE the "Undocked" configuration -- the "delete" key is grayed out when "Undocked" is selected. This looks like it needs registry or boot record changes, but I don't know where to look. Help! I am running Win98SE. I have never used a docking station with this laptop.

I believe this is the result of changes made by a tech at a conference where I gave a powerpoint presentation. He set up my laptop to work with their projector, and ever since then I have had this problem.

Any ideas how to get my Original Configuration back??

Have you checked in BIOS to see if thier is a setting for that? I can't remember. But it has a ring to it for some reason. Just a long shot.
