    Word template problem (Office XP)

I typed a name and address after I opened Word in order to test WOPR's XP Enveloper. Enveloper works fine, but now I'm stuck with that name and address every time I open up Word. It's become a part of Document 1. Does this mean my template is corrupted. How do I fix this. I tried the repair option, but this didn't work.

Re: Word template problem (Office XP)

I'm not familiar with XP Enveloper, but it seems that the address you typed in has been saved as part of your Normal.dot template, since you say it appears every time you start a new Word document. Try opening Normal.dot via File Open (the templates are usually under Cocuments and SettingsAll UsersApplication Data Microsoft Templates) and see if the address is contained in the template. If it is, you can delete the address and save your Normal.dot template (I suggest this route first, in case you have any customizations in your Normal.dot template). If this is not the case, I'm at a loss for further suggestions at this time.
