    Sharing Tasks and Notes (2002)

We have about 10 users in our service group that use Outlook on a Microsoft Small Business Server. They want to be able to access a contact from a shared contact list (located in a Public Folder), assign a task to a user, and have that task visible to all users so that we can see what has been done for a particular contact. We can initiate the task, assign it to someone, and they accept it, but the only visibility is to the initiator and the assignee. Is there a way that these activities can be shared. We tried creating a shared Tasks folder and a shared Notes folder but for some reason the task and note entries keep being entered in the users task and notes folder and not in the shared folder. Can someone help me set this up properly?

If you don't have a solution to this yet, you might want to take a look at the team folder toolkit. It makes the processes for this kind of business function a little easier. btw - Team Folders use a web home page that works with the Outlook view control; you will need a web server to store the pages.
