Side by side

I have Office 97, and I'm finding the following "annoyance":
In Ms Word: Is it there any way to arrange the windows of two simultaneously open documents VERTICALLY (that is, side by side)?
Excel offers the option to arrange Horizontal OR Vertical, while Ms Word (the version I have, at least), returns an Horizontal line to the Arrange All selection.
Incidentally; is this quest of mine an option I didn't load?

You can do it... I just don't know how to do it automatically like Auto Arrange...

Open both docs in W97. click the minimize button on each of them... not the main minimize button for Word, but the individual document minimize... From here you can arrange the two documents side by side...

hope that helps...
have fun

Yes; I tried it and it gets me out of the "annoyance".
Thanks a lot.
I would, if possible, a more automatic way.
I have *.PCX plots embedded into *.doc documents, and must compare waveshapes between two huuuuuuge files.
Thanks again

Look for a template called macros8.dot which you have either installed or is on the CD for Office 97. (I skipped 97, & this was available for Word 95, so I believe it's available for 97). Check here for more information. The macro that you're looking for is TileVertically (I think).

Hope this helps.
