QFD in Excel? (Excel 2K SR-1)

OK you guru's. Has anyone out there tried to do QFD (Quality Function Deployment) in Excel? The straight matrix is easy enough, but one of my colleagues has asked me to do the "hat" portion. I figure it can be done with some head scratchin, but before I reinvent the wheel, I want to poll the group and see if someone else has "gone before" and who's work I can leverage.

    Let me know. Thanks.

Wouldn't know a QDF if I saw one, but a Google search yielded this page which has a link at the bottom to download an Excel template, but it's for an "improved" QDF, so it may not help you. --Sam
