    NewData in combo box

    I need to pass the NewData value from a combo box in one form to a field in another form. The NewData value occurs when the user types in a value that is not in the list. I'm calling the second form correctly but I don't know how to pass the NewData value that is generated when this routine: Private Sub cmbRegistrant_NotInList(NewData As String, Response As Integer) is called.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: NewData in combo box

    I found the answer. I use the:
    DoCmd.OpenForm "Enter New Registrant", acNormal, , , acFormAdd, acDialog, NewData

    to send the NewData value to the next form. And use the:
    sInput = [Forms]![Enter New Registrant].OpenArgs
    to retrieve the value that was sent. Works like a charm.

    Thanks anyway!
