    add-in (2000)

I have an Excel add-in that I have saved to my hard drive. I want to include it in my Personal.xls file so that everytime I open either a new Excel file or an old one already created the addin will work. Any suggestions?

You can attach the addin to excel:
    Tools - add ins...
Browse button to find it on your hard drive

If you really have an addin (you changed the SaveAs Type to Addin when you save the file), then you don't put it in Personal.xls to make it available to all workbooks. Open Excel and select "Add-Ins" from the Tools menu. Click on the Browse button and find and your addin file, select it and click Ok. Then put a check mark next to your addin and click OK again. The addin function should now be available to all workbooks.
