    I.E. 6 (6.0.26)

Some how I have managed to delete the link from my desktop that when right clicked allowed the user to set up the "Internet Options" for I.E. 6 I have a link the Executable but not to the Configuration app. So each time I set such items as the Configuration script for the LAN communication and then reboot the setting is lost. Can anyone help me find out how to get this link back or how to enter the configuration script address so it is not lost on reboots?

    Doc ~

You didn't mention what flavor of Windows you were using, but in XP all you have to do is right-click anywhere on your Desktop, select 'Properties', click the 'Desktop' tab, at the bottom click the 'Customize Desktop...' button, then on the 'General' tab there is a 'Desktop' icons section. Place a check in the box next to 'Internet Explorer', click 'OK', then the next box click 'Apply', then 'OK' one more time and you will have your IE desktop link back. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

You should be able to get to the 'Internet Options' through the control panel. Also, to get the special IE icon back on the desktopyou can use the MS app TweakUI. Here's a link to the XP power toys <A target="_blank" HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp/">

Here's a link for TweakUI 1.33 (use for other than XP)
