    Don't allow input (2000)

This is probably really simple, but I'm apparently searching the help files incorrectly.

I have a form that is used to look up account numbers and types of accounts for schools. I have it set up so that you can search on either the school name or the street address for the school.

But, I don't want someone to be able to edit using this form, and I can't figure out how to turn off the option, while still making it possible to select one or the other field for searching.

Set the AllowAdditions, AllowDeletes and AllowEdits properties of the form to No.

Alternatively, set the RecordsetType property to Snapshot (this is for Access 97, I don't know this is still possible in Access 2000).
