    'Invalid argument' (2000)

    Help!!!!
I am writing a system in Access 2000 on Win2000 and have recently been stopped in my tracks by the following message "Invalid argument". my system was working fine until this morning, now every query (mostly make table) I run gives me this error message. Even tried and tested parts of my system have stopped working. If i copy the objects into a new database then I don't get this problem until i run a make table query. Is this a memory (resource) problem, a system problem, corruption?

    Please help
    Regards

Check the make table query to ensure that none of the parameters feeding the query have changed. I would copy the make table query to a test query changed to a select query to ensure the select statement is working. If the select works and the make table is still failing then make sure you aren't mixing datatypes in the make table query statement.
