    Inserting a decimal (Office 97 SR1)

I have two fields that should be currency with a decimal after the second number from the right but there is currently no decimal. What is the easiest way to fix this? I was thinking an update query but I don't know how to tell it to simply insert a decimal after the second number from the right. Thank you for any help.

    Re: Inserting a decimal (Office 97 SR1)

Basically what you are trying to do is divide the current value by 100, so in the Update To box of the field you want updated enter this formula:

    [FieldName]/100

That will move the decimal point to the left 2 places, or before the second number from the right.

The only thing that you have to make sure s that the field isn't an integer. If the field is an integer, the numbers after the decimal point will be truncated.
