    Firewall (WINXP Pro)

Well I downloaded Sygate's Firewall. That thing is so good it wouldn't even let me on the internet. I tried everything , including disabling it, and it still wouldn't let me on the internet until I removed it from my computer. What's up with that?

    Re: Firewall (WINXP Pro)

Thanks for the warning, one of the experts who convinced me that I didn't need XP Pro for home use, has been trying to get me to switch from ZA. Now I know where to file his recommendations <img src=/S/toilet.gif border=0 alt=toilet width=24 height=26>.

    Maybe the firewall detected a <img src=/S/fire.gif border=0 alt=fire width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/meltdown.gif border=0 alt=meltdown width=15 height=15> on your PC and was imposing a containment policy <img src=/S/hosed.gif border=0 alt=hosed width=73 height=24> to protect the rest of us on the 'net?

Nope. I have PC-CILLIN 2003 and I am well protected. I think the problem is the hub I am using to network. Who knows.

Well I downloaded Kerio Personal Firewall And it prompted me several times on what I wanted to allow and boom I was on the Internet. Cool. Any body know anything about Kerio?
