    Error message

Under Windows 98, Gerry asked for HELP getting rid of Error message "dw this program has performed an illegal operation--------" Lotsa lookers but no replies. Would sure like to get rid of that mesage. He has already dumped Kazaa and installed Adaware. Any HELP most appreciated. Thanx.

    Re: Error message

    This is confusing.
Gerry started a thread in W98 and reported it was resolved, then started another thread saying it was still a problem.
(The preferred route would have been to keep the thread intact by adding another post to the original thread so that previous posters would know it was still ongoing.)

Are you asking on Gerry's behalf - or are experiencing the same?
    (I'm assuming you and Gerry are not one and the same user <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> )

    Re: Error message

Sorry for the confusion. I am helping Gerry get established in this weird business and we thought at one time that we had cured the error message problem. But it returned and hence the most recent query. We thank you for your attention. Sorry I didn't follow accepted posting procedure due to my ignorance.
This Lounge has been a great help to me in the past.

    Re: Error message

    No problem <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>.

Can you or Gerry post a reply to the original thread - Post 211056 - to that effect, and we can see if we can it it sorted once and for all!

(The main advantage of keeping to one thread is to help others searching for a similar cure - at the moment it still looks like it has been fixed!)
