    Disappearing Text (Word 2000)

    Hi there

I colleague has sent me a word document to have a look at. The document is 19 pages long containing text within a table. When I go a certain section of the document and start typing the text beyond this point seems to disappear and the document is shortened in length. The page numbering adjusts itself to match the number of pages left within the document. I cannot seem to get the text back into the document and have to abort the edit.
To overcome the problem I have copied and saved the document is Word 6.0/95 format and this seems to have cured it for the moment. Can anyone cast any light on what excactly is happening to the original document as the original uses nested tables which are not supported within Word 95.

    Regards

It could be related to paragraph settings such as 'keep with next' and 'keep together' <post#=199980>post 199980</post#> had a discussion on similar symptoms
