password

In looking at my profile, I noticed that the password verification doesn't match my password. Corrected the verification and submitted it. When I log out and then log in and check it, it is still not corrected. Have done this several times to no avail. What else should I do?

Hi Libby,
Can't help you with your question. One of the admin types will have to do that.
I did notice that you are now from the Cape. I THINK we are the only ones sharing that distinction surprisingly enough. Welcome.

Re: password

Hi Libbie

If I remember correctly, the password you see has been purposely changed by the Lounge programming as a security provision.
Your true password is still present and in effect.
Sooooo, to answer your question...do nothing...just have fun being part of the Lounge!!

Have a Great day!!!

Re: password

LibbieL,

All passwords are stored in an encrypted form. Therefore, if you have a say 8 letter password, it is quite possible for the form showing 10 or 11 asterixis. It's an added security feature to protect your privacy.

Enjoy the lounge ,
Cheers, Claude.

Re: password

I omitted to mention that not even I, as the BigCheese, can view your password. This is why we have a password-recovery system in place, and, it's why I never respond to "I forgot my password" emails, the auto-responder takes care of that .
Cheers, Claude.

I used to be from the Cape -- Osterville -- but my home is now in Charleston SC. Met my wife at Harwich Winter Theater in "Guys and Dolls"..

Re: password

"Harwich Winter Theater" was the "Harwich Junior Theater" for adults during the winter when the kids had all gone home. Time period during mid to late 70s. We did stuff like Amahl and the Night Visitors, Dracula, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Guys and Dolls. Obviously we were generalists having fun and learning new things.

Also heyday of the Chatham Chorale under Jerry Morely. Lots of fun doing things I never though I'd be caught dead doing.

Re: password

Ah, now I recognize "Junior theater". Saw a few things there.
Also, Gerry Morley is still going strong with the Chorale and other endevours.
Memories.
********had to edit this post, my wife just corrected me. Gerry is no longer with the Chorale, but is choir director at 1st Parish Church in Brewster, but still into other musical endevours, though.************
