Blank Pages in a report (Office 97 SR2)

    Hi

I have inherited a access database, there is button to create a report, but when the report is printed to screen a blank page is inserted in between every page with data on it. All the data is there but it is a waste of paper when printing.

Novice User But getting better thanks to these forums.

Perhaps a page of the report is slightly wider than the page settings allow. You can try one or more of the following:

The report may be wider than necessary. Try to make the report narrower by dragging the right edge to the left (see attached picture).

If that doesn't help, decrease the left and right margins in File/Page Setup...

If that doesn't help either, move or resize some controls so that you can make the report narrower.[/list]If you still have problems after this, post back.

A problem like this is something that all of us (well, except for Charlotte, probably) have wrestled with. Once you've found out what causes it, it sticks in your mind.

... It only sticks in your mind when you are younger. Us aging or should I say aged folks, however not as aged as Charlotte or Wendell (Sorry I couldn't resist) tend to forget more then we remember. .... Something to look forward to as time goes on.
